This morning was “interesting”. I woke up late to hit crossfit. No big surprise there. I so want to be a morning workout person but well, its just not going to happen.
I did manage to drag myself out of bed and put on my running gear and headed out door. Linked up my Nike Sportswatch and started on …… WAIT
How could this be? Was I really still sleeping? Where are the tunes! I totally forgot my Ipod and figured I better just go and get it over with. It was only 1.5 miles and starting to get warmer and the heat and I do not mix well. Combine that with no Beebs and well …. I dont even want to imagine.
From the start … pant .. pant … pant What the heck? Do I REALLY breathe that hard? My heartrate was only about a 140 and I sounded like I was a 150 pound Golden retriever about to give birth! I also am a heavy striker too. That cant be good!
At any rate, I pushed through and completed. I tried to enjoy the sounds of the birds and cool morning breeze but all I could think about was how I needed to hear
Baby, Baby, Baby oooooohhhhhhhhh
Rather than my remake of an episode of “The Klumps!”
